"Kiki" is a 13-year-old witch who is currently in training, but to become a full-fledged witch, she must spend a year alone in a distant town. When "Kiki" leaves her family and friends, she follows the tradition of flying to the skies with her black cat "Jiji" and her magic wand. When she settles in the coastal town of "Corikko", she tries to find a place to stay and eventually becomes lost in the streets without a place to stay; however, until she meets "Osono" who proposes that she work as a delivery girl for her bakery. "Kiki" quickly decides to open her own delivery service with her magic broomstick and begins her journey towards financial independence. "Kiki" experiences thrilling experiences while trying to find her place among the town's people and comes to understand the true meaning of responsibility...
